This is a very well edited video. The music and surroundings blend together to make something very special. Plus it helps that the flourishes are prefect! Enjoy

Is cardistry art? This is a question I’ve been asking a lot lately. I’ve come to the conclusion that cardistry can be art but is not art all the time. When I first started cardistry I did it because I thought it looked cool and I could show off in front of people but I slowly noticed cardistry could be so much more than a talent or something to impress others with. I’m not saying using cardistry to impress others is wrong in fact I think showing others what they most likely wouldn’t have seen without you is awesome. However I believe that cardistry can be used to make us better people and allow us to show our personality. For starters we can use it to show our emotions and feelings. I often pick up a pack of cards when I am sad or happy and I express my feelings through the movement of packets. It something you have to do or feel to understand because otherwise it seems silly but I think this action closely resembles dancing. Dancing can be someone using their body movement to express ones feeling or tell a story or you can just show off your skills. cardistry can be the movement of cards to express ones feelings as well or you can just show off your skills. I believe if we can consider dancing art which I believe most people do we can consider cardistry art as well. Webster’s definition of art is something that is created with imagination and skill and that is beautiful or that expresses important ideas or feelings. When you think about it cardistry can do all these things at times. I fully believe cardistry can and is an art form but what do you think let me know your thoughts in the comments?

also heres a video example of cardistry being art
